Mieke holds a Master of Speech Language Pathology from the University of Sydney and a Bachelor of Languages & Linguistics from Griffith University.

Mieke is a Certified Practising Member of Speech Pathology Australia and a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist (CPSP).​​

​

She is particularly passionate about supporting people with swallowing and additional mealtime support needs, which is now the main focus of her private practice.

 

Her approach is practical and person-centred, with a strong focus on collaboration with families, disability support workers and organisations, and other allied health professionals.
